Early puberty

I would like to find out if there is any treatment for early puberty. My daughter is only 8 years old and is starting to develop breasts. ive heard that there is some or other nasal spray that contains hormone supressants, that can hold back the development for a while. She is also having problems with her hands feeling dead, and someone told me that the hands is related to the hormones. I would appreciate if you can help me or at least refer me to someone that has handled patients like this.

Your daughter is young to be going into puberty. This is called precocious puberty. She can be seen by her regular paediatrician and hormone tests may be done if thought necessary. Her hands feeling 'dead' is probably not linked but may be due to pressure on a nerve or the blood supply to her hands. This may be due to the presence of an extra rib known as a cervical rib among the possible causes. Please mention this to the paeditrician.
