Q.

Ear Infections

My LO, 21 months, has just had an ear infection, even though all his vaccinations are up to date. What causes ear infections? Is there anything I can do to prevent them?

She has not received any immunisations which would protect her against ear infections as such, although she is at a slightly reduced risk because of her haemophilus immunisation during the first series of injections she had. There is nothing that you can do that will definitely protect her against an ear infection at her age.You may want to try an immune booster such as Viral Choice Junior through the winter months.
