Childhood Diseases

My lo is 14 months and started fever/vomiting on Saturday - poor appetite, does not want solids + bringing up her NIDO.
Doctor says it is a severe ear infection in both ears + throat.

Gave a strong antibiotic + pain/fever meds which got rid of the fever. Have been feeding soups/apple juice etc because she is refusing any solids.
The problem is that today is day 6 of her illness - she is not keeping her NIDO down and still refusing solids - will take soup/apple juice but her stools are so loose and watery (leaking through the Pampers).

She is a little lethargic and sleeps a lot as well - is this due to the strong meds?
How long can one expect her to be so poorly with ear infection.
Doc says to go through the course of antibiotics, roughly 4 more days left and if symptoms persist, then we need to get her to a specialist.

Pse advise re: diet, ear infections etc etc

She is probably having this bad diarrhoea due to the antibiotic which must be stopped as it is causing too many side effects. Give her Reuteri infant drops daily as a probiotic for at least 10 days.

My son normally suffers from ear infections alot, and after 2 days of using (heated cooking oil on a stove in a spoon with 1 garlic section) wait for it to cool, pour into baby's ears, close with cotton wool. Have a good night sleep after 2 days. Thats what helps my son
