Healthy children will eat when they are hungry. The most important thing is not to suppress their appetite by giving sweets, chips or cookies. We are meant to eat healthy balanced food. No vitamin syrup or "appetite stimulant" is of any value in this regard. The most important thing is to prevent access to all unhealthy food, unless it is once a month at a special occasion.
