good afternoon

my daughter is 10 months and throws really bad tatrums and does things that she knows she is not allowed to do. How do i dicipline her at this age because i dont think smacking is going to help at this young age or am i wrong?

You are correct, smacking is not the answer. You cannot really reason with such a young baby. Show your baby that you are firm when you want her to do something. Speak in a clear firm voice and clearly state what you want her to do. If she won't listen or starts throwing a tantrum just say ' Stop'. If she won't listen just walk out of the room and close the door. Only re-enter the troom when she has stopped crying.Try your best to absolutely ignore tantrums. She will soon stop this behaviour

I have a 10 month old baby girl as well, maybe we can share ideas. Can you be more specific on what occasions does she throw these tantrums, i' m sure there could be something that causes her to act that way becuase my baby can be a little aggresive sometimes. And what exactly do you mean by "  doing things she is not supposed to do"  becuase babies at that age are very curious, they take everything they get hold of. If you don' t put way things or lock them ohhh boy you are in for a big one coz you' ll be saying NO all the time. And saying NO all the time is not a good idea becuase she won' t know what is right anymore.
