Q.

DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

Hi doc,

My son is 21 months, he weighs 10.5 kg's - i have emailed you previously and you said his weight is below average.
One thing i should add is that i have noticed that the food he eats (especially spinach, corn, carrots, peas..) does not digest fully. I see that from his nappies. Sometimes "bigger" pieces of food comes out the same and is not digested...

Can this perhaps have something to do with his weight and what can I do about it?

Thanks :)

Finding undigested foods such as peas, corn, carrots and spinach in the nappies of children is very common and is normal. It does not mean that there is a problem with his digestion.
