My son is now 16 months. He was on Parmalat 1st growth for the past 3 months. When I took him to the clinic the sister recommended that I switch his milk to Nido since he does not pick up weight. Nido was treating him well, he is currently having an on and off diarrehea, I not sure is it because of the milk (nido) or something else. He is just fine and does not look or act sick.

It may be something else in your little son's diet such as fruit juice or fruit that is causing this 'on and off' diarrhoea. It is unlikely to be the Nido because he could tolerate Parmalat First Growth milk.Try stopping all fruit juice and also fruit except for apple in his diet for about 10 days and see if his diarrhoea improves.Do not give him fruit juice for several months if his diarrhoea stops and then it should be diluted and preferably only apple or pear juice.
