diarree on 11 month old boy

My boy is 11 month old and had the flu for the last 4 days, but this morning his tummy starts to run. It is a yellow colour and waterish.
The pharmacist gave us coryx for the flu.
He never had any problems with theething and his seventhe tooth just got through yesterday.

must we take him to a dr or must we wait awhile?
thank you

Do not give Coryx syrup to your baby. Coryx contains pseudoephedrine and this should not be given to children under 2 years of age.His diarrhoea is not due to teething, but is probably due to the same virus infection that is causing his cold.Do not change your baby's diet, but give him frequent sips of Rehidrat solution to prevent your baby from losing too much fluid and body salts. The instructions for mixing the Rehidrat are on the packet.he should be better in a day or two. If his diarrhoea becomes worse or if he starts to vomit he should be taken to a doctor.Use infant saline nose drops twice daily in his nose to keep it clear of mucous.
