Q.

Daughter - 3

I have noticed that my daughter (aged 3) seems to have (don't quite know how to explain it) something I can feel almost under her right rib cage - towards the abdomen. It runs along the bottom edge of the rib cage and not a lump, it's more lengthy. I can only feel it when she lies down, but not all the time, sometimes it dissapears. Please advise what this could be.

Paediatrician

This could be her liver that you can feel. It may mean that her liver is enlarged if you can feel it. It is necessary for you to take her to be seen by her paediatrician.

Forgot to ask, is it possible to feel organs in the stomach? Is this where the liver is?
