This is probably craddle cap and applying babyoil or even olive oil usually relieves the problem.

My daughter is also 6 1/2 months and suffered from the same thing when she was 2-3 months. The scalp becomes very dry, that's why it looks like dadruff. I took her to a doc, he prescribed betnovate cream and advised me to use acqueos cream to bath her instead of soap. It works wonder and i'm happy with.

N.B: Most babies are allergic to some of baby stuffs like johnson & johnson, Elizabeth Annes etc. Unscented acqueous cream is the best.

Hope it helps

If it is cradle cap it will appear yellowish on the scalp. You have two options either put Elizabeth Annes shampoo on the head, keave for a couple of min and then try gently brush of with a comb, or I see that Elizabeth Annes now makes a cradle cap ointment/gel and is available at any store. Have a try with this. Hope it helps

It's probably cradle cap not dandruff, try elizabeth anne baby shampoo, it doesn't leave a residue build-up.
