creche at 17 months

my little girl of 17 months started creche on mon. They have put her into the 18 month to 2 year class. Today was her second day but app she is very tearful and doesn't want to sleep there or eat there. We have got her there from 8-2pm and then my mom goes to fetch her. Since last night I noticed she doesn't want to bath anymore she just cries and wants to climb out, she is extremely miserable and doesn't want to do anything. Tonight she was very clingy to my mom and not to me which is very unusual. Why is she doing this? Also it is really hard to put her to sleep at night and we have to rock her in her pram. Her nose has been running and gave her dimetap also has a bit of thrush on tongue and she seems to be trying to cut her eye teeth too. Her head also seems warm now and then. Is she sick or is it the creche? Do you think she is at a good age -the nurse said she was advanced for her age? Please tell me what to do I feel so bad when they tell me she has been tearful etc. Will it come right? Also how long does it take for eye teeth to come thru seems like forever

You are asking many questions here and I will try and help you. Why did you start sending your child to a creche in December, you could have waited until next year and she may have been happier about going there? In any case she has severe separation anxiety and is very unhappy at the creche. Can't your Mom look after her during the day she seems to be very happy with her? She has already caught her first cold as well which is common in young children who attend creches.
