creaky bones and brittle teeth

Hi Doc
my son who is two turning three, recently had his two front teeth redone as the enamel was getting eaten. Now his one tooth (the redone one) has fallen out during his sleep. now this morning I see his second redone tooth has cracked. My question is do you think my son has some sort of deficiency cos his little joints also tend to creak (lower back and knees), and I see his back teeth have also enamel that is eaten away. He drinks a bottle or two of milk at bedtime and tends to drink throughout the night.
Please help me as I am a little concerned.

It is difficult to be sure about your son's problem without being able to see him. It is possible that he has a calcium deficiency or some other cause for the condition you describe here. It would be best to speak to the dentist first and ask him/her whether it is necessary for your son to have any special tests done and whether he should be seen by a paediatrician.
