Q.

Cough

My 10 month old baby has developed a nasty cough and runny nose. At night her nose seems blocked.
With the approval from my paed 3 weeks ago i started changing her formula from NAN HA2 to NAN2 gradually.

Could the cough and runny nose be from this or from the creche.
I use Sterimar/Salex in her nose at night but what can i do about the cough.

Paed said on Tuesday its nothing.....

Your baby has a bad cold it would seem and the creche situation is the usual suspect here. You need to keep her nose open using the saline nose drops. Cough mixtures are not recommended for this age group. If the problem does not clear up after 10 days please go back to your paediatrician for an opinion.
