Constipation: 10month old

Goodday Dr

I know you received a lot of questions in this subject, but I still have a few concerns.

My Lo is 10 months old. She is currently on Nan HA. I'm thinking of changing her formule on 12 months, after her check up. She is eating well, and I'm trying to give her wholeweat baby porrige, and hi-fibre food (sweet potato, and even mix a bit of oats with her home cook meals). Also give her prune purity, and apart from her milk, she also gets water in the day, and somedays diluted prune juice.

Her constipation is on and of. SOme days are worst than other days. (Clay like stool). SOmetimes it will be fine again. If the stools are constipated, she only manage to get a bit out, and then I (only on occasion) give her a glycerine supp.

Today I bought some Duphalac, because this week we are struggling again.

My question.
Do you think it is the NanHA? I don't want to change her milk now, and would like to wait untill 12 months, before I change to normal Nan. Would it be better if I change to normal Nan? If not, which other milk will be o.k.

If I start giving her Duphalac, for how long? Can I give it on and of? Don't want to put her on something permanent.

Thanks for help

Her constipation could be due to the NAN HA but she is obviously on an HA formula due to a relatively mild cow's milk allergy. Changing to a soya formula at her age may be a bit difficult but would probably help a lot with her costipation.
If you decide to use the Duphalac which is a very safe preparation for infants, use it for a 10 day period then stop and see if she maintains regular soft stools. If not let me know and I will advise you further.
