Q.

concern about toddler's behaviour

HI! Doc

My son is 4 months old. He is trying everything i.e sitting, crawling, showing signs of teething. He's got loose stool. They say it's because he is trying all the above at the same time. Also i am in the Northern Cape province which is very hot. I did take him to the clinic for check up but he was still growing fine. Should I be worried.

It is wonderful if children are inquisitive and trying new things. Diarrhoea is a concern if it is associated with any signs of dehydration, fever, perisitent vomiting or poor weight gain. What you decribe sounds like a perfectly normal baby who may have some gastro-enteritis or a changed stool pattern due to teething.
