Q.

colic at 14 mnths- Dear Paediatrician

I went to see a gastroentrologist at Red Cross when my daughter was about 10 mnths. He did a normal check up hardly listened to anything I said, said she has colic and is basically naughty and that was it. I was referred there by Dr Paul Sinclair (who could not help) ... could there be something showing now that she is older. She had a rectal scope when she was about 6 mnths they could not find anything

Please advise..what is the next best step?

Paediatrician

She really needs the opinion of a good paediatric gastroenterologist. They are in very short supply. I would suggest that you arrange an appointment with Prof Joe Ireland at the Red Cross Children's Hospital. Please ask Dr Paul Sinclair to arrange this for you.
