Hi,my boy is 17 months & is going to creche, from sunday he had a slight diarrhoea,(about 2-3 soiled nappies a day),& then on monday he started coughing and it sounded like a thick phlegm inside the throat, last night he coughed & vomited twice,he does not have a fever,he is not weak, but since yesterday it looks like he lost some appetite, should I be concerned & take him to the doctor,or can I get something from the chemist. What should I use for the diarrhoea & the coughing? At the moment for diarrhoea(the white medicine)& for the coughing (Adcoflupain). Please help.

Your little son has a bad viral infection at present which is affecting his chest and also causing diarrhoea and vomiting. It is important for him to be checked by your doctor as I am concerned about him possibly becoming dehydrated.

For the diarrhoea best ask your pharmist. for the phlegm on his chest try Flemeze u can get that over the counter. my son (2) was rushed to hospital because of phlegm and that made him not breath to good. well they cave him the Flemeze and that does work wonders.
good luck
