My son will be 4 yrs old in April, when is it the right time for him to be circumcised?

The operation can be done at this age,but circumcisions are only done for definite medical reasons.

You should have had your circumcised as an infant. NO trauma, much better results and a lifetime of pleasure for him and his lover. Not to mention the health benefits. All these folks that say dont do it have no experience with circumcision and have no idea what they are talking about. Especially the NOCIRC as they are the biggest foreskin biggots alive at any cost. Sounds like you have had too much of the NOCIRC koolaid. Do what is best, and that is circumcision

The best age for your son to be circumcised is when, as an adult, he decides that this is what he would like.

You have already come this far with your son, allow him the freedom to make this decision for himself.

Unless your son has a medical problem requiring this procedure, there is no need to circumcise him.

The South African Medical Association has adopted a policy position indicating that the minimal health benefits offered by this procedure do not justify the risks associated with this.

The foreskin is a natural, normal and functional part of your sons anatomy.

More information on why this is nor required can be found on NOCIRC-SA.

Please also consider the psychological and emotional impact of this surgery at your son' s age.
