Q.

circumcised toddler

hi doc

i've gathered u are anti circumcision. nevertheless my boy was circumcised at birth and now nearly 3 years, i've had no problems, only suddenly noticed yesterday, it looks red under the head - as if someone made a small 'slice' between head and shaft, infact as if the head wants to detach itself from the penis if u could picture that. it's not swollen, i don't think sore, but today seems more red than yesterday, looks bleeding but it's not, you can only see it when you seperate head from shaft with fingertips. i put some medaspor meanwhile as only have that. my husband think it's probably cause he's growing and normal, but i have no idea. any ideas? thx.

This sounds quite normal, but if he has had an antibiotic recently or if there is a definite increased redness with inflammation, it is possible that he has developed a candida infection.Using the Medaspor is a good idea and should clear up any possible candida infection.
