Q.

Circumcise or not?

Very uneducated in this field. What should we consider regarding circumcision should we have a boy?

I cannot give advice as this is a personal decision that is influenced by many cultural and religious beliefs. Medically speaking the benefits of circumcision is not convincing and our advice will always be to do no harm and act in the child's best interests.

Hi D

In general parents circumcise a boy if the father is circumcised as little boys want to be like their daddy and often realy feel different if they look different. They will only realy see other boys when they get older but then an explination can be understood. The only other real reason other than if there is a medical problem is for hygenic reasons, but if they are tought properly how to clean themselves then it shouldnt be a problem.
