Q.

chronic sinusitis

How can I prevent my 19 mnt old from gettig repeated sinusitis infections. She has a chronic cough and yellow-green discharge from her nose. She has grommets and her ear also has a discharge. She needs a doctor's visit almost every month. I don't like antibiotics. I live on a farm but do not have animals in the house. Will a multi-vitamin help and which one?

19 month old toddlers do not have sinuses. Their sinuses are tiny and have not developed yet. She probably has enlarged adenoids. Keep her nose clear with Salex nose drops twice a day, every day. If she does not improve please take her to see an ENT surgeon as she may need to have her adenoids removed.
