Your little son's symptoms suggest that he has whooping cough. Stop all the medicines that you have been given as they will not help for whooping cough. He should have a short acting safe cortisone syrup such as Prelone syrup once daily for 5 days. It is very difficult to stop this kind of cough but it is worthwhile trying Aterax syrup 2.5ml at night. You will need a presciption for these two medicines so will have to speak to your paediatrician.

Dear Doctor,
Could you help me as I am suffering of excessive night sweats - don''t know if this is correct, but even during the day and at night I develop a fever hot flushes then sudden coldness. I am coughing and have a medical diagnosis Pulmonary oedema (ARD) as well as DVT. What can I do or what do you suggest?
