Q.

Cholesterol in children

Im 34 years old and have 3 kids 11,5 and 9 months and i have raised cholesterol (total is 6.3)and i have rash like spots on top of my eyes. I am not taking any medication for this.
Im worried that my kids will inherit the same condition from me, my daughter 11 has the rash under her eyes.
I want to have my kids diagnosed, which doctor can i take them to including myself. And can i have the rash removed.
Regards
Worried mom

Your children should be seen by a paediatrician as it is very likely that at least one of them has inherited your problem of raised cholesterol.
