Q.

Child behaviour

I would like to know why my child has become sensitive to certain noises. He cannot stand the sound of someone chewing food! This has just developed over the last few months. When he hears you chewing he removes himself from the table or he will cover his ears with his hands. He also has a tendency to take his time when asked to do something. eg. getting dressed in the morning etc.

Maybe some of our readers can assist, but I am truly not aware of any medical condition as described. It sounds as if a behavioural cause is more likely than a physical one and the liklihood of this will depend on your child's age..
