Chest pain

My daughter of 6 yrs could be suffering from Da Costa''s syndrome... brought on by stress. How can a 6yr old suffer from stress?

Children even much younger than 6 years may have from stress depending on their circumstances. The problem may be at school. It all depends on the child's specific circumstances and on their nature.

Everyone can suffer from stress. REmember that a 6 year old doesn''t have the life experiences that an adult does, so far smaller issues will cause them a lot of stress. Things like changing schools, parents changing jobs, divorce, having to spend a day with a child they don''t like, getting into trouble for something they didn''t know was wrong and so on can all be huge causes of stress for children. A parent being dismissive of the stress a child is going through causes them more stress.
