Changing from formula to cows milk

Dear Doc, my son has just turned one, and with our last visit to the Paed, he said that we should change is milk at 12-months. We took him off the NAN 2, and bought Nido+1. He is drinking less formula now. I am just a bit confused, people are telling me to stop using Nido and change to cows milk. We tried the cows milk for a few days but it caused a runny tummy so I stopped it. He is fine now. Should I change to cows milk? What is the best way to do it step-by-step? Should I stop Nido and just have his little tummy get used to the cows milk? Is giving him both Nidi and cows milk going to much for his system. Nido has all the vitamins and minerals while I dont really trust cows milk (all the weird hormones). Confused and afraid on next step, Andy

Your son seems to do best on the Nido so why not carry on with this. It is a very good formula for this age group.
