Change in cereal

My son turned 1 year on 14 March. He has an excellently healthy appetite and thus far his teething has been relatively evet free. He has 7 teeth, nr 8 is on it' s way out. At his paed check up a few days before he turned 1 year, his weight was 9 kg' s and the paed indicated that he was happy with his progress. However I would appreciate answers to the following questions: -

1. Can I start giving him pronutro with full cream milk or should I continue with Cerelac baby cereal mixed with his formula (btw I still breatfeed him as well)

2. If I can change, should I give him amultivitamin supplement and if so, which one

3. He has dark patches under his eyes, which sometimes get blotchy and when this happens he tends to rub his face, eyes, nose quite a bit. I' ve been giving him Zyrtec, 5 drops, everyday. How long should I continue with it? I' m now just about completing the second bottle.

4. He is a stay at home baby with a nanny and generally a very happy boy. He will eat just about anything and is not a fussy eater but is there anything I should not be giving him at this age?

Looking forward to your responses and thank you!

There is no reason why you can't give him Pronutro cereal now with full cream milk. Make sure that the cereal is not too dry when you give it to him and not too much at a time. He does not need a vitamin supplement. The dark rings under his eyes probably suggest that he is allergic. He seems to rub his nose and eyes as well. Zyrtec is safe and effective and can be continued for long periods even as long as 1 year if needed. There is nothing special that you need to give him now. He will be on a full mixed diet by now.
