Paediatrician

It is often extremely difficult to determine the exact cause of cerebral palsy, but your paediatrician would be the best person to advise on what the likely causes may be. Most cases of cerebral palsy occurs due to a single "random" event where blood or oxygen supply to a part of the brain was compromised and should not recur in a seconde pregnancy. You should also discuss your concerns with your obstetrician.
