Q.

car Sickness

Hi Doc

My one twin daughter aged 8 and half months gets car sick. We are planning on going on holiday, is there anything which I can give her? Someone recommended Valiod Paedeatric syrup, but I see the syrup isnt meant for babies, is it safe or is there something else which I could try?

Valoid cannot be used in babies of this age. There are no other safe treatments for car sickness for this age group. The only thing to do is to make sure that she can see out of the car when you are driving and to ventilate the car well. Keep her occupied as much as possible when she is awake. Make frequent stops.Keep an even speed.
