Hello Doc!

My LO had croup for the second time this year last week.
We took her for all the allergy test and blood tests, but did not learn anything from it!
She is constantly struggling with a cough and runny nose.
The pead and gp said there is not much they can do to reduce the mucus and she will be getting sick very often.
She has also been on two courses of antibiotics, one in an attempt to clear the mucus, prozef, and one to clear up the tonsilitis and ears caused by the croup, Augmentim.

Out of desperation we took her to a homeopath over the weekend, because we want to help her and nothing the doctors are doing is helping.
His conclusion was that she has candida...
I have read up on it a lot and she does have some of the symptoms...

What is the treatment?
Or should I rather ask, how does doctors treat it?
He did prescribe some drops and stuff, and I am not a believer in this type of stuff, but I am desperate and will try anything!
Can we do anything else to help my little one??
Oh, she is now 14 months!

Thank you so much for your time and patience on this forum!
You help us so much!!
Have a good day!

Firstly most of us may have candida but fortunately our bodies constantly fight against it and prevent it from causing actual infection. Many times after antibiotic treatment candida can indeed become a problem. The way to treat candida is firstly to give your little girl a probiotic such as Reuteri drops daily for 10 days plus Nystatin oral solution 1ml given 4 times a day for 5 days.
Thanks for your kind words!
