can' t do this anymore

my little girl, 2 next month, wakes up every hour. What can I do. I end up sleeping with her and then she still wakes up and looks for me so ends up sleeping on top of me. Needless to say I get little or no sleep this way. Please help. When she goes to my mom for a few days she sleeps right through the night, so what am I doing wrong?

The reason appears to be that she is sleeping in your bed or you are sleeping with her. This is exactly what she wants. She must sleep in her own bed and must not come to your bed.You will need to be firm about this as you obviously cannot continue like this. If she will not listen then you will need to use the contolled crying technique which is difficult but will work if you really try hard. You will find information on Health24 and on Google.

My son, 2yrs2mths, also started doing somehting similar. He would go to bed fine, but by 10:30 he' s up and waiting with his blanket to go to my bed. I thought at first he was just looking for security, but eventually it was becoming too much for me, so I spoke to him very calmly before bed one night, letting him know mommy is tired and he needs to sleep in his own room. And since then he has not got up at night. It may not be this easy for you, but be firm. Good luck.
