bump on penis

goodday, I hope you can assist me, we have jsut moved to Germany and we dont know any doctors here.

My son had a bump between his foreskin and glans we took him to a urologist which advised us it is just some spegma and that is natures way of divinding the foreskin from the glans.

yesterday i retracted his foreskin a little to see if it is still there ( which it is) but i notice a small bump on his penis. THe location is in the middle of his penis and it is not red. More a white colour. it is under the skin and not on the top. it is not very big. more like a bit of a swelling but still a bump i would say.

Could this be serous and should seek medical attention

You do not say how old your son is. it is very difficult to advise you about this problem without being able to see your son. This could be completely normal or may be a small cyst. It is certainly not due to smegma as suggested by the urologist. Do not push the foreskin back.It is not serious and can safely be simply watched to see what occurs. The most likely result will be that it will simply disappear by itself.

I do apologies for not putting his age.
My son is 18 months and the paediatrician first notice it when he was 6 months old. It has not become bigger. It is just a small yellow bump where the foreskin and glans is connected. Hope I am explaining it right. It is basically on the tip of his glans.

He has had this for a year now, is that normal? But it has not grown at all. Maybe even small bit smaller but very small bit.
