Breastfeeding and baby weight

My son will be 17 months in July. He weighs 11kg's. He was 9kgs at 12months and only increased to 11kg's at the last clinic visit of 15 months. The clinic said its not really an issue based on his growth chart but Im just wondering if this is an ok weight for his age, and if so, does the breastfeeding have anything to do with it. He has been breastfeeding exclusively since birth and still is. Ive tried to wean him but cries uncomntrollably if I try to stop. Apparently he eats well when he is at creche but he doesnt eat as well over weekends, then he breastfeeds more. Should I be worried about his weight?

If his weight was 11kg at 15 months then his weight was exactly on the average for his age then. I presume that over the past 2 months that he has picked up a bit more weight. It seems perfectly alright to continue breast feeding him. He is getting solids at the creche as well, but is not a great eater at home. This will also improve later on.
