Q.

Breastfeeding

When my baby was born she weighed 3.12kg, after 4 days we left the hospital and she weighed 2.98kg, she is now 2 weeks old today and she sleeps a lot.

She sleeps for about 7 hours then wakes up for a feed eating for 30-40 minutes a feed goes back to sleep and then wakes up again in 6-7 hours, she doesnt cry and seems very content but working it out she only has about 3 - 4 feeds in a 24 hour period. we weighed her last week thursday and she weighs 3.3kg,

Is this normal for her to sleep so much and feed the way she is? Her nappies are normal her urine is normal and she wee's a lot and her stools are the mustardy colour.

Please advise if i should rather wake her every 4 hours or let her wake up when she is ready.

Your baby is doing very well and is gaining weight normally so you are doing everything correctly. She certainly seems to be drinking enough as all the signs are good.
