Bottle &  Dummy &  nappies

My grandaugter is 20 months old still drinks atleast 2 bottels after 18h00, and she loves her dummy and we are now starting the potty training.

Her mommy feels that the time is right to take the bottels and the dummy away. I feel so sorry for her.

Is it really time? Would it be so " bad"  if she kept her bottels &  dummy till after 2 years?

You are correct there is no need to rush thing at this stage. Your daughter can quite easily wait until her little toddler is 2 years old before trying to take her dummy and bottles away.

I suggest doing one thing at a time, the poor child will be so overwhelmed and scared, potty train first, then the dummy or bottles, bottles might be easier as you can use sippy cups / straws etc. Take it slow, they are comfort things and she will be lost if your daughter took everything away at the same time and still wants her to potty train
