Q.

Blood Test

My 16 months old daughter was in Hospital the other day with a virus. She was on a drip. Her temperature was up and down but after 4 days she was the norm herself again. The Pead. said her Blood test was all fine just that her white plates are quite low. What does this mean and can I supplement some Vitamins to build that up again.

Your daughter's blood test simply indicates that she had a severe viral infection. She does not need extra vitamins. She will get better by herself.
