Blisters on bum

I am looking after a toddler. His Mom to d me had a nappi rash from may he''d eaten the night before. He actually has blisters. Does that sound like a nappi rash? It seems that he has new blisters each time I change his nappy. What can I use for this?

It is difficult to be sure about the answer to your question without being able to see this little boy. It is possible that a food is causing this nappy area rash such as acid fruits like citrus, pineapple and tomato and tropical fruits. There are also at least two other possibilities,in particular a reaction to ammonia in his own urine or a possible contact allergy to his nappies. Change his brand of nappies and apply Antipeol nappy cream after each change of nappies. It is important to change a wet nappy as soon as possible.Avoid all the fruits listed above.
