Blister like sore under tounge

Hello

My 7 year old daughter came to me asking what this thing was under her tounge. It looked like a perfectly rounded blister. I tried to "pop" it thinking she might just have burnt her tounge (underneath). It would not 'pop'.

It then went away, but it has come back again. Twice in one week?

My daughter says it is not sore but it obviously bothers her.

Should I be worried about this. I went as far as to think it might be an insects egg. But if it went away an came back it cant be.

Please help!!! What could this be? It is clear, off white if you look at it, it looks like a blister but it is round like, maybe an insect egg.

Please get back to me.

Nadine

This could be a cyst. It is unlikely to be due to any kind of parasite. Please take her to your doctor.
