Q.

biting nails

My 2 and half year old is bitting his nails, is this a phase? Is there anything I can put on them to stop him bitting and that won't make him ill?

The first step would be to kindly draw his attention to it whenever it happens. If it persists, your pharmacy may be able to provide something to apply to the nails to discourage the habit.
