Q.

Bennetts Colic Mixture

Can children become addicted to this colic mixture? My kid is 3 months old and has not outgrown her colic as yet but I don't want to just keep giving her the colic mixture as I am afraid she might become reliant on it even though it helps her tremendously with the cramps.

I have never heard of an infant becoming dependent on or addicted to this kind of medicine.

My baby is 7 weeks old, after having stomach cramps and drinking Lactogen the doctor advised us to put him on Isomil. However his stomach started to run and he would have 5 pooh nappies a day, very watery. He also wanted to drink 150 ml every two hours. I put him back on Lactogen and after a week cramps are returning, however he is feeding 150 ml every 4-5 hours. Which formula should I use?????
