Q.

baby's head is still flat on the one side

Tanya is almost 8 months old and her head is still flat on the back left side. Her fontanelle is also almost closed. We went to see the pediatrician when she was 5 months old and went for x-rays that were fine. Should I take her back to the pediatrician or am I being impatient?

I have discussed this condition before, which is common. It usually resolves to a degree when children spend less time lying down. It is also good to encourage them not to lie in the same position (on the flat side of the head) the whole time. If your child is normal in all other respects and developing as expected, there is no immediate need for concern.
