Q.

Baby sucking ice cubes

Please tell me if it safe for a baby of 13 months old to suck ice cubes - I thought it was very dangerous as the risk of them choking is very high?

I would not advise this for precisely the reason that you mention. Luckily ice will melt if it ends up in the airway, but it may cause a severe choking episode.

Why don't you rather use those plastic lolly moulds & put in some healthy fruit yoghurt & freeze.

Your infant will not choke, will get some healthy yogurt down & is delicious.
