Q.

Baby sleeping with open eyes.

I had a real scare last night, walked into my almost 20 month old girl's room to check on her and she was sleeping, but her eyes was open. I waked her up and she was fine, although she slept very bad for the rest of the night.
Lately she has been throughing tantrums and when she is upset she would just fell back on the back of her head and screams. She must have pain, because she would cry afterwards, I hate it when she does that, she would do that sometimes 2 to 3 times a day. Could this falling on the back of her head has something to do with the open eyes? I am really concerned. I want to take her to the paed in July.

I am concerned about your daughter appearing to sleep with her eyes open and her change in sleeping habits. Also she fell on the back of her head recently. I think it would be best if you asked your paediatrician to see her this week and make sure that all is well with her and there is no evidence of epilepsy or other problem here.
