Baby sick

My daughter is 7 months old and has been in daycare for the last month. From about 5 months, she got several ear infections in a short period of time and two weeks ago was diagnosed with bronchiliotis(sp) and ear infections by her Paed. She was put onto a heavy dose of antibiotics and she was well last week. Now, she' s sick again, and its the same symptoms. Some people have suggested that its not a bad thing she gets sick like this because it builds her immune system up, but I just feel enough is enough, but yet, I cannot afford to stop working and take her out of daycare. She' s been on so many courses of antibiotics, when is enough enough?

The answer to your question and to your problem lies in your first sentence. This story is typical of the creche syndrome where children get one illness after another due to exposure to other children who are ill. It is not a good thing for your child to be ill all the time and especially if she needs antibiotics so often. If you have no choice but have to keep her at the creche [there are often solutions such as finding a good carer to look after her at your home] then try her on Creche Guard daily and also give her Reuteri probiotic drops 1ml daily every day to increase her natural immunity.

I feel very sorry for you but my son also got sick a lot when he was younger. He is now 3 and a half and it is going better there is light at the end of the tunnel. The pead said to me they will get sick at school because of all the kids and there things I have also heard the ear infection can be from the baby' s laying down and drinking there bottles. You must maybe think of getting her some vitamins it can only do good.
Good Luck
