Q.

Baby refuses to sleep on his back

Pliiiiiz tell me what's wrong with my baby. He is 15 months old he refuses to sleep on his back he wants to sit,when i try to put him on his back (at night) he cries i don't get enough sleep as i feel he is not comfortable. Also when i change him he does that.

What can i do pliz help.

You wont easily be able to change his sleeping posture now, so let him do what he wants. He should be fine sleeping the way he does.

Your child is the best judge of whether he's comfortable or not.

Once your baby is able to roll from front to back and back to front its no longer so important that they sleep on their back or side. Obviously before they can roll they must sleep on their back or side because it reduces the chances of cot death by 70%, but once they can roll, it really doesn't make much difference because they move around during the night anyway. My son goes to sleep on his back, but sometimes wakes up on his stomach. He's 17 months old now.
