There is no problem if the baby drinks only milk at this age. Please do not try to seduce him by offereing other sweetened drinks.

At this age, most babies still only need milk, so don't worry about it. When you introduce solids at 6 months, your baby still only needs milk to drink, and then you can gradually start giving cooled boiled water, and you can even give it in a cup. I found that my baby couldn't cope with a spout until about 9 months, so he drank froma cup without a spout until then. Now that he likes to hold his own cup, I am very thankful for the no-spill cups with spouts.
