Q.

Baby not sleeping

My baby boy is now 3 months and 1 week. He sleeps fine during the day, max of about 4 hours during the day. The problem is at night. He eats his last bottle at about 7pm. Then sleeps soundly until about midnight, then eats again. After that feed, he just does not go back to a deep sleep. He lies and moves alot, moans alot, and just does not sleep, until about 4h30, when he eventually is awake for the day.

I cannot find what the problem could be, and why he is not sleeping proparly..

Please give some advise.

There are several possibilities here. The first one is unlikely as he is getting a bit too old for it, but he may be troubled by colic. The other is that he is not being winded properly after his feeds. Try him on a simple colic remedy for a few days and see if it helps and wind him well after each feed.Another possibility is lactose intolerance as he seems to moan a lot after his last feed and he may have excessive wind as a result of lactose intolerance. There are several new lactose free formulas such as S26LF.
