Q.

BABY HAD TONSILITYS 4 TIMES THIS YEAR

MY BABY IS 15 MONTHS. HE'S BEEN A LOT OF TIME ON
ANTIBIOTICS MANELY BECAUSE OF TOSILYTIS. HE HAD IT
4 TIMES THIS YEAR. HOW CAN WE PREVENT IT AND WITHOUT
SO MANY ANTIBIOTICS. HE'S BEEN AT CRECHE SINCE 4 MONTHS.
HOW MANY TIMES ARE YOU ALLOWED TO GIVE PAIN AND FEVER MEDICATION AND CAN IT BE GIVEN WITH HIS ANTIBIOTICS AND WHICH IS THE BEST ONE FOR FEVER.

This is most unusual but is part of being at a creche. Each episode needs to be treated with an antibiotic as it is not safe to neglect to treat tonsillitis in a young child. He seems to be heading towards early removal of his tonsils.
I prefer Panado syrup for fever or pain in this age group.
