It sounds as if your baby has a condition called 'seborrhoea' which is a kind of eczema. Seborrhoeic eczema is not due to an allergy and the good news is that babies usually grow out of this skin problem at about 6 months. What concerns me about your baby's dry skin is that EpiMax does not seem to help her. EpiMax is usually very effective in treating dry skin is babies. For this reason I think it would be best for your baby to be seen by a paediatrician just to make sure that your baby daughter does not have some other dry skin condition that would account for her poor response to the use of EpiMax.
