Baby cries when bathing

Hi
Would please give me some advice of how to make my baby stop crying when bathing. Everytime when I bath him he cries as if he is beaten. Please advice.

Thanks

You do not say how old your baby is.This is very common. The water must not be luke warm not too hot. Make bath times fun. The problem will ceratinly go away as he gets used to the idea of bathing.

I witnessed demo bath at a hospital. Some of the babies cried until they were red all over. Check the temp of the water. If it is too cold, my baby tends to get annoyed and then cry. Also be gentle when you rinse your baby. The wet warm face cloth is a winner!
Good luck and happy parenting

Hi Flo,
Not sure how old your baby is, but one tip I learnt is when they are in the bath, put a warm wet face cloth over their tummy. Also try to ensure that the baby's feet are touching the bottom side of the bath. Not sure why, but it seems to make them feel a little more secure. Hope that helps.
